Measurement and evaluation are crucial to understanding impact and learning from your successes and failures. Importantly, everyone has a role to play in it. This course will provide new and inspiring ways to approach M&E work that can be used on a project, team and organisational level.
🛠Learn & apply innovation tools /
Over the course of 5 lessons we introduce some basic concepts and definitions related to M&E as well as innovative ways to measure impact and tools you can use along the way. The course will end with some resources for further learning and implementation.
Session 1 will introduce you to the basics and key terms of M&E and how innovation can play a role in it.
Session 2 will set the stage for a creating an impact measurement strategy. It covers how to create a Theory of Change, how to identify stakeholders, KPI development and innovative KPIs.
Session 3 covers the types of data we gather for M&E and innovative methods to measure. It also provides some tips and tricks on making sense of the data once you have it.
Session 4 looks at how to communicate your impact findings once you have made sense of the data. It provides examples of impact reports and communications.
Session 5 brings it all together by emphasizing that M&E is a culture and a role everyone has to play. It provides a chance to reflect on your own role in M&E.
